Challenges
The PTL department faced operational challenges due to outdated equipment and manual testing processes. These limitations resulted in inefficiencies, extended testing periods, and potential inaccuracies in data collection. There was a pressing need to modernize the test facility to meet growing demands for efficient and accurate performance testing of pumps across various capacities.
Solution
To address the challenges, our solution begins with supplying and installing specialized equipment tailored to enhance pump testing capabilities. This includes 250kW Starter Panels and VFD Panels equipped with Sinus filters for each of the two test beds. These components are designed to streamline operations and reduce testing time significantly, improving overall efficiency.
Additionally, we integrated Instrument Panels featuring DPM and Yokogawa meter functionalities, along with GPIB-USB HS+ converters and USB cables. These instruments ensure precise data acquisition and monitoring, essential for accurate performance evaluation across varying pump capacities.
Furthermore, our approach includes the deployment of cRIO DIO modules for precise CT selection and seamless operational commissioning. This integration not only enhances operational control but also supports scalability, allowing for future expansions and adaptations to evolving testing requirements.
